Course Description
The aim of this course is the study of international and European security in the contemporary world. New actors on the global and regional levels do not perceive force as the determining factor in their mutual communication, which poses new challenges to international and European security, and sets new missions for international organizations.

- To understand basic concepts of international security and security of EU
- To understand activities and decision-making process in international institutions and organizations
- To understand and analyze the key issues of international and European security
- To understand contemporary challenges and threats and ways of combating them
- To analyze various manifestations of contemporary threats, challenges, dangers and risks
- To analyze security policies of modern states in the world and Europe and their impact on the Croatian security policy
