About the Conference
DSC 2026 is an international, peer-reviewed academic conference organised by Dr. Franjo Tuđman Defense and Security University, focusing on current and future challenges in defense and security. It provides a platform for scientists, professionals, educators, and students to present original research, share best practices, and engage in informed dialogue.
Who Should Submit
We invite submissions from:
• Academic researchers and scholars
• Defence and security professionals
• Policy analysts and practitioners
• Graduate students (with faculty endorsement)
What to Submit
Submissions may include:
- Original scientific research,
- Review papers,
- Preliminary communication
- or Professional papers (practice-oriented, policy, or applied case studies)*.
All accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings (ISSN 3044-6104).
*Professional papers will appear in a separate issue within the same volume.
Topics of Interest
The conference welcomes submissions across key defense and security domains (Strategic Concepts, Disruptive Technologies and Warfare, Defence Economics...).

How to Participate
The submission process involves:
- Abstract submission (Sept. 1 - Nov. 28 2025),
- Full paper submission (upon acceptance of abstract).

Presentation Requirement
At least one author must present the accepted paper at the conference — in person, online, or via poster (as assigned). Papers not presented will not appear in the published proceedings.
